Why Okwus
A company runs better when someone can see all of it.
Okwus exists so that the owner, the finance head and the person in the yard look at the same facts – and can ask about them in plain words.
The name and the O
Okwus is one name everywhere – the company, the platform and the assistant you talk to. Its first letter is drawn as an eye: the O that watches over the whole company, so that nothing important goes unseen – an unpaid invoice, a truck that has not arrived, a site short of guards, stock running low.
Watching is not the same as acting. The eye sees and tells you; people decide.

01Your data stays yours
Your records belong to your company. Each company is kept apart by the database itself, Okwus only ever answers from your own records, and you can download your data whenever you need it.
02Plain words over jargon
Screens, reports and answers use the words your team already uses. If a page needs a manual to understand, we have not finished it.
03The system fits the company
You should not have to change how a good business works to suit its software. We start from what you do and shape the menus, records and documents around it.
04AI that shows its sources and asks first
Okwus checks every figure against your records before you see it and tells you where it came from. It can prepare a change, but nothing is saved until a person presses Confirm.
05Built in and for Africa first, works anywhere
Okwus started in Nigeria: Lagos time, naira amounts and Paystack payments are built in from day one, not added later. The same system runs for a company anywhere.
